Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation.
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and create innovative meal options.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items that align with customer preferences.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
